This is a six-part series investigating high profile Series 1&2 cases where women have been convicted of serious crime in 2009 - 2010 Ireland. Idir Mná delves deep into the broader social questions associated with these cases looking at issues such as stalking, binge drinking, financial difficulties, bullying, gender inequality and unrequited love. This series delves deep into these questions and ask what are their implications for our society as a whole. The use of drama reconstructions and discussions featuring both experts and commentators in this series recreates the lives and crimes committed by six women, which lead to their incarceration in Irish prisons over the past fifty years.
